Classics of Civil War Fiction

The Classics in Civil War Fiction series brings back into print important and interesting works of literature about the American Civil War. Series titles include novels and single-author short story collections that have both historical interest and literary merit. Each series classic features an introduction written expressly for the series by an expert historian, literary critic, or other appropriate author. Some titles in the series have been published in cooperation with the United States Civil War Center.
